Welcome to Northwoods Photography.


I am blessed to live in a beautiful city at the western end of Lake Superior, Duluth Mn. Check out scenes from my beautiful hometown including: The Aerial Lift Bridge, The Rose Garden, The Lakewalk, Spirit Mountain, Park Point the Duluth Harbor and Canal Park. Duluth is an urban wilderness dotted with cascading streams and waterfalls with spectacular overlooks of Lake Superior.

Inside you will find an extensive collection of images of Wildflowers and Waterfalls of the Northwoods. My collections come from the Western end of Lake Superior and include photos from Northern Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

A new addition is a collection of senic photos from Maui, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Valley of Fire, and Nappa Valley from the U.S. . An additional collection are from travels to Tuscany and South Africa.

After retiring from over forty years in education as a special education teacher, my new passion is nature and landscape photograpy. My photography has taken me on many adventures, discovering amazing places around the western end of Lake Superior, across the country and the world.


My main focus is to share the amazing places and things I have photographed. Eventhough sharing is my main focus, I am offering serveral products for private enjoyment or commerial use. I am offering a digital download and commercial license at a reasonable price for all photos in my collection. Also I am offering prints in several sizes and price ranges. If you purchase a print there are two main options for paper with the metallic option providing an amazing medium. I offer small, year long, one page calendars that you can format using my photos.

Most of all I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I have in taking them

I have viewed a few of your photos and think they are absolutely beautiful. I love any type of photos. I am planning on looking at all the portfolios and will be back to post another review.
