We stayed at a small winery, Podere Campriano, in Greve the market place for the Chianti wine region. I am overusing superlatives on this site but with the winery at a top of hill overlooking the valley and an ancient castle town straight across, it was really hard to beat for amazing scenery. It had been a wet spring and everything was green with wildflowers everywhere. The treatment we received at our winery and everywhere we visited was first rate.
